What does PAWer Insurance policy cover?

(1) Vet Medical Benefits* (Limit varies from RM 3,500 to RM 8,000):

Veterinary and Surgical Fees

• Consultation Fees: Whether it’s a routine check-up or an emergency visit, we cover the costs associated with veterinary consultations.
• Surgical Fees: If your pet requires surgery, our policy covers the expenses, ensuring your pet receives the necessary medical attention without the financial burden.

Diagnosis and Blood Test

• Diagnostic Costs: Understanding what’s wrong with your pet is crucial for effective treatment. We cover the costs of diagnostic tests, including blood tests, to determine the underlying issues affecting your pet’s health. However, if the vet determines that these tests are not necessary, they are not covered.

Overnight Clinic Stay

• Veterinary Boarding: Sometimes, your pet may need to stay overnight at the clinic for observation or treatment. We cover the costs of veterinary boarding as advised by the vet, ensuring your pet is monitored and cared for.

Prescribed Medication

Ultrasound / X-ray

• Imaging Services: Advanced diagnostic tools like ultrasounds and X-rays are often necessary to get a clear picture of your pet’s health. We cover these imaging services, making sure your pet gets the accurate diagnosis needed for effective treatment.

Follow-up Care

• Extended Care: Recovery doesn’t end with a single visit. We cover the costs of follow-up care for up to 60 days, ensuring your pet receives continuous care and monitoring as they recover from illness or injury.

Terms and Conditions

• Waiting Period for Illness: Coverage for illness begins after the first 14 days from the policy’s effective date. This waiting period ensures that pre-existing conditions are not included.
• Accidental Injury: Coverage for accidental injuries is effective immediately from the start of the policy, providing instant protection for unforeseen events.

(2) Burial and Cremation Coverage (Reimbursement of up to RM 1,000)

● This covers the cost of burial or cremation and handling fees charged by the veterinarian clinic/hospital or service providers when processing your poor pet's remains.

(3) Third Party Liability Coverage (Injury and Property Damage to Others – Reimbursement of up to RM 50,000)

This covers the cost of your pet causing injury or damage to others.
